Sacred Heart Block Inspired Print

I designed this block inspired Sacred Heart print envisioning it as a quilted linen jacket, so I created some conceptual images to demonstrate. I like to work with symbology and the image of the Sacred Heart has featured in a lot of my work over the years; it’s an image I always feel drawn to when exploring motif and pattern ideas. I wanted to create a romantic and evocative colour palette to compliment the design, so used deep red shades and rich pinks.
